SkyQuest International, LLC Announces the Sale of 1991 Embraer EMB-120ER Aircraft to MTW Aerospace

Winston-Salem, NC – Tuesday, April 26, 2016 – SkyQuest International, LLC is pleased to announce the sale of one (1) 1991 Embraer EMB-120ER aircraft (serial number 120227 and registration HC-CEM) to MTW Aerospace in Montgomery, Alabama.

The EMB-120ER aircraft is a twin-turboprop commuter airliner manufactured by the Brazilian aerospace conglomerate Embraer S.A. The aircraft series, also known as “Brasilia”, was developed after the success of the EMB-110 Bandeirante. Most of the aircraft were sold in the USA — the first entering service in October 1985 with Atlantic Southeast Airlines. The EMB-120ER variant features extended range and increased capacity.

There are currently about 230 Embraer EMB-120 aircraft in service or in storage. Thirteen (13) EMB-120s have been sold in the past 12 months throughout the world. The average 2015 market value for an Embraer EMB-120 is $958K.
